Tips for fair and engaging classroom picks
- Read the list aloud first. Before the first spin, show the class the names on the wheel so everyone sees the same roster and knows the draw is honest.
- Use Fullscreen with sound. Projecting a large wheel with a clack on every segment turns roll call into a mini game show and keeps students focused.
- Keep Lottery mode for roll call. It guarantees one turn per student per round, which is exactly what you want for fair participation tracking.
- Shuffle between rounds. After a full round, hit Shuffle to reorder the segments so the visual position of a name does not hint at who is next.
- Save different rosters as .txt files. Keep one file per class or period and Import the one you need, so switching groups takes a few seconds.

Yes. In Lottery (no repeat) mode, each student is picked once before the wheel starts over, so a 30-student class gets 30 unique picks per round.
Can I project the wheel on the classroom screen?
Yes. Tap Fullscreen to hide the side panel and enlarge the wheel, and turn on sound so the whole class hears each spin land.
How do I load my roster quickly?
Save your class list as a .txt file with one name per line and use Import, or paste the names straight into the box. Either way the wheel fills in instantly.
What if a student is absent?
Just remove their name from the list before spinning. If you prefer fully independent picks instead, switch to Decision mode.
Is every student picked fairly?
Yes. Each spin is unpredictable, so every student has an equal chance, and the no-repeat guarantee means no one is skipped or picked twice in a round.
